PLUSWOOD solaie deck as (balcony type)

Exterior / Outdoor Living

A recycled wood deck for residential balconies that combines high design aesthetics with superior performance as an eco-friendly material.

Bringing Recycled Wood Decks to Urban Balconies

This decking system is specifically designed for urban residential projects, meeting the common requirement for low-profile floor heights on balconies. We offer two installation methods to suit different structural needs: the Adhesive Method, which fixes the deck to the building structure with adhesive, and the Non-Adhesive Method, which allows for installation without bonding.
The Non-Adhesive Method is particularly ideal for rental properties because it can be installed without using screws to penetrate the waterproof sub-floor. This enables a simple installation that avoids damaging the underlying structure.

6 Features of PLUSWOOD Solaie Deck

Uses ABS-based resin with excellent weather resistance. There is minimal resin degradation or color fading caused by weathering, preserving the beauty of the initial installation for a long time.

Resistance to Termite Damage

PLUSWOOD has a structure where wood powder is encapsulated by resin. Even after a 3-week forced feeding test with termites, there was no damage at all, demonstrating high anti-termite properties.

Superior Decay Resistance compared to Natural Wood

Even after a 12-week forced decay test using Fomitopsis palustris and Trametes versicolor, no decay occurred, demonstrating high preservative performance.

Anti-Static Performance

A special formulation reduces electrical resistance, suppressing the static electricity (painful discharge phenomenon) that occurs when touching metal after walking on the deck.

Improved Water Drainage

By texturing part of the deck edges, the hydrophilicity of the corners is improved. This design shortens the time it takes for rainwater to be discharged into the joints.

Safe for Children: No Splinters or Thorns

Because the raw wood powder is pulverized to approximately 200 microns before molding, there are no dangerous thorns or splinters like those found in natural wood, ensuring peace of mind.
